If you believe the national surveys, only 30% of employees enjoy what they do for a living. Life is too short to waste our time doing something that does not inspire us. Sometimes we just need to see the examples of others to help us chart our own course. When we meet people who love their craft - they inspire us.

Well, according to our millennial generation colleagues "lit" and "dope" are today's version of "cool," "groovy," or "awesome." There is something magical about working on a highly effective, small team that keeps ideas flowing and work exhilarating. I believe this is because they have a higher level of accountability, ownership, and trust in each other.
When you undervalue what you do, the world will undervalue who you are.
If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude.
These women were so authentic and proud of what they had accomplished, but they were also reiterating the experience that I was wanting. Listening to them, it wasn’t just words about what it could be like. They were sharing a true experience.
