Having Your BestDay
If you believe the national surveys, only 30% of employees enjoy what they do for a living. Life is too short to waste our time doing something that does not inspire us. Sometimes we just need to see the examples of others to help us chart our own course. When we meet people who love their craft - they inspire us.
Our blog, “Having Your BestDay”, are personal first-hand experiences graciously provided by members of our team, as well as other thoughts that inspire us, information that makes us think, and insights we have learned over time.

Be Proactive
Be a light, not a judge. Be a model, not a critic. Be part of the solution, not part of the problem.

Diana's Best Day
When I sat down to think about what my best day at work looked like, I struggled a bit. No matter where I have worked, or what I have been doing, I have always noticed there are two versions of the same place.

Are you happy
Are you happy? Yes, talking to you. Hey, I have all the time in the world while I wait for an answer!

A Tsunami is Upon Us - A Work Tsunami
My Father worked for the same organization for 36 years. Dramatically, 40% of my sons' generation believe they are going to be entrepreneurs. This incredible change in generational attitudes about work becomes more foreboding for employers as the average stay of younger employees hovers around three years.

It’s just stuff
Funny to me that as true as that concept is - that it is always about the relationships and how we treat each other - in the work setting there are times we quickly forget that.

Journey vs Destination
"The journey must be enjoyed or else the destination is never reached."

Heading for the second mountain
If the first mountain is about building up the ego and defining the self, the second is about shedding the ego and dissolving the self. If the first mountain is about acquisition, the second mountain is about contribution.
